  • Departure port: Puerto Base (Puerto Rico), Gran Canaria

  • Duration: Approximately 2 or 3 hours (including swimming stop).

  • Availability: Daily, except Sundays.

  • Embarkation: 15 minutes before each departure.

We are proud to hold “Blue Boat” status. Our boats, authorized for dolphin watching, can be identified by the yellow flag with the “Blue Boat” logo. This official authorization is a prerequisite for us to offer our excursions in compliance with strict national and international laws for the protection of pilot whale and dolphin populations.

In order to offer this activity and not disturb the animals, we strictly adhere to the following rules:

✅ Mandatory for the protection of animals:

  • Do not approach closer than 60 meters.

  • Maximum observation time: 30 minutes.

  • Navigate at a reduced speed.

  • Avoid concentrating ships.

  • Leave the area if the animals are disturbed.

❌ Strictly prohibited:

  • Bathing with the animals.

  • They feed them.

  • Sie berühren.

  • Throw trash into the water.

  • They disturb you with noise.

The ship: Safety and comfort

For your excursion, we will use a modern, newly built catamaran (built in 2005). The ship is 16.50 m long and 6.40 m wide and has two decks. All safety precautions have been taken, and a ramp is available for strollers if needed.

The ship: Safety and comfort

For your excursion, we will use a modern, newly built catamaran (built in 2005). The ship is 16.50 m long and 6.40 m wide and has two decks.

  • Security: All necessary security precautions have been taken.

  • Accessibility: A ramp is available for strollers if needed.

  • Onboard service: Enjoy a relaxed atmosphere with pleasant music and a complimentary drink. Blankets are available for our guests upon request.

  • Languages: Spanish, English and German are spoken fluently on board.

Blue Boat: Our commitment to the marine world

We are proud of our “Blue Boat” status. This official authorization is granted by the authorities only to vessels that adhere to a strict protocol for the protection and preservation of the underwater world.

The tour is dedicated exclusively to the responsible observation of dolphins.

Your excursion program

  • Departure: We depart daily, except Sundays, from the port of Puerto Base (Puerto Rico) in Gran Canaria.

  • Duration: Each trip takes approximately two or three hours in total.

  • Boarding: Takes place 15 minutes before each departure.

  • Dolphin search: We will search for dolphins within an approximate radius of 5 nautical miles between Arguineguín and Mogán.

  • Expertise: During the sighting, our tour guide, who specializes in dolphin watching, will provide you with interesting and knowledgeable information about dolphins and other marine animals (including turtles, flying fish, etc.).

🌊 Refreshing swim stop

After observing the dolphins, we will take a short swimming break in a quiet bay so you can refresh yourself.

Tip: Please don’t forget to bring your swimwear and a towel!

Your souvenir photo

During boarding, a professional photographer will take a picture of your family group. This picture will be offered to you for purchase as a souvenir at the end of the trip, with no obligation.
